FAQ section for all inquiries concerning t-shirt print and merchandise
What do I need to do to order?
All orders should include the following information:
- Quality of fabric (i.e. 150 g/m² or 190 g/m² Shirt)
- Size mix (i.e. 100 t-shirts basic red 20L, 20XL, black 20M, 40XL)
- Print colors (Please define colors according to either HKS or Pantone color system.
- Otherwise, we will use design colors as seen on screen. That will usually come pretty close to the original, but might not be 100% correct!)
- Print position (Where do you want the image to be printed on the shirt)
- Print size (Print width in cm. For best results, provide the design in original size)
- Billing address (if different from mailing address) and phone number.
What is the minimum order volume?
Can I order different fabric options within the minimum order volume of 50 shirts? For example: 30 unisex and 20 girl shirts?
Yes. As long as the design stays the same, you can mix fabric styles. For example: 20 blue girl shirts and 30 black men shirts.
How do you handle my address data?
We keep your address data (incl. e-mail, fax and phone) strictly confidential and never pass it on to third parties.
How do I make a complaint?
After receiving the goods, you have 14 days to submit a complaint. The complaint can pertain to possible flaws of fabric quality and/or the print.
- You can either pay in advance (we will send an email with invoice in advance, delivery will occur after receiving payment in full)
- or via PayPal.
All prices exclusive of 19% VAT.
We deliver approximately 5 – 10 days after receiving all relevant requirements. Should shirt wholesalers have supply difficulties, deliveries may take longer. In this case, we will immediately notify you and offer alternative brands / colors.
Which printing options do you offer?
We only offer screen-printing.
Will the films be archived?
Yes, the cost for films is a one-off. After your order the films will be archived and will not be invoiced for following orders.
Will the screens be archived?
We keep our screens for 8 weeks after your order. After that they are cleaned and reset. In case you already know that you will be re-using a particular design, let us know in advance and we will come up with a solution.
Your safest and easiest bet is using TIFF-files.
Make sure to send in actual printing size with 300 dpi resolution in RGB and gray scale mode or a minimum of 600 dpi for black/white. Always check for sharp edges.
We can also accept other pixel-based formats (in actual printing size at 300 dpi) or vector graphics (Corel Draw or Freehand).
Please note when sending vector graphics: all fonts must be converted to paths and let us know the intended print size.
We can also take care of the graphics details, just let us know (for instance touch ups on unsuitable artwork).
Can I change the design size for the same design on different shirt sizes such as XXL and Youth Large?
Of course we can change the size, however for both design sizes we have to set separate films and print screens. That means we have to calculate each design as separate prints, since a smaller print size also means a new screen.
Information on providing artwork
We can use files from the following programs:
- Adobe Photoshop CC
- Adobe Illustrator CC
- Adobe Acrobat
All used fonts and typefaces must be converted to paths and embedded.
File size / resolution:
Please prepare your image in the intended print size (1:1) at 300 dpi
Please provide all special colors as solid colors
Please provide Pantone Color Values (Pantone Solid Coated) as a definitive reference for the print colors. Alternatively, you can send a color proof or a print-out of the print data, from which we can take the colors.
Which shirt qualities can you provide?
For t-shirts / girlies from 100 g/m² to 240 g/m² grammage.
Shirts under 145g/m² can only be recommended when you’re looking for the lowest price option and fabric quality is not your main concern. Usually for music merchandise, promotional purposes etc. as well as club t-shirts we will use 150 g/m² to 190 g/m².
Everything with a higher grade grammage is used for top-quality merchandise, promos and shirt labels etc.
However, quality is not only defined by the grammage, the overall manufacturing details (seams, collaring etc.) as well as the fabric quality is what really counts.
Can you recommend particular fabrics?
We can whole-heartedly recommend all the fabrics we offer. That being said, certain aspects such as availability, colors and value-for-money may differ between individual brands.
We will happily discuss the benefits of individual brands on the phone to help you find the fabric that fits to you.
